Calling all dog lovers - come and enjoy a great day out to celebrate all things canine, including a dog show with agility and best in show competitions, expert talks, paw hunts, themed stalls, crafts and activities for all the family, together with food and refreshments.

Come and get those ‘little grey cells working; at the Essex Book Festivals exciting opening event to discover how Future Power could impact your lives at home, at work and on the move through engaging and informative interaction with local community energy groups, themed activities and crafts, workshop and environmental power trails and hunts, making a great day out for all.

A day where everything is for kids, offering activities, workshops and games for all children up to the age of 15.
Kids entry is FREE.

Come and see around 200 motorbikes on our events field including Classic Vintage Modern and Customised Motorbikes, Touring Displays, Trial Demonstrations, Club Stands, crafts and trade stalls, food stalls and bar.  Competition for best in show for a variety of categories.

Summer Outdoor Vintage and Antique Market.
The event will take place in the museum's large grounds.
Expect to find stalls selling antique and vintage items including, jewellery, silver, coins, vintage fashion, handbags, furniture, sculpture, garden ornaments, household effects, curios, art, collectables, ceramics and much more...
