Events Volunteer: Car and Bike Enthusiasts

We’re looking for volunteers who are friendly and welcoming and have an interest in cars, bikes or transport. The Museum runs regular events for every motoring enthusiast; vintage and classic car shows, motorbike meets, autojumbles, history of transport and even boats, buses, tractors and caravans! You might want to volunteer at one motoring event or a few of them.
The Museum of Power reopened to the public in 2024 after a £1.9 million redevelopment. The Museum runs a busy events programme to animate its building and grounds, provide unique experiences for visitors and generate important funds for the Museum charity.
This is a great opportunity for someone who only has a short amount of time but wants to do something enjoyable and make other people smile. Maybe you are able to help us prepare for and set up the activities before the event, or perhaps you have a few hours to help on the day. We’re looking for volunteers who enjoy working with the public and are able to welcome visitors of all ages and backgrounds.
