The museum is open at the following times:

November to Easter – Saturday and Sunday 10.00am to 4.00pm

Last entry 3pm

Easter to October – Wednesday to Sunday 10.00am to 5.00pm

Last entry 4pm

*Open Bank Holiday Mondays
*Closed January except New Year’s Day Bank Holiday

Entrance to the grounds for miniature railway etc. and tea-room is free, however a charge is made for access to the rest of the museum:

Adults: £3.50     
Concessions: £3.00     
Children under 6: free  
Children aged 6 to 16: £2.00   
Families:  2 Adults + up to 3 Children  £9.00

*Reductions for groups of 10 or more.
*Evening group visits available subject to minimum charge of £50.

Hiring field

The museum has a quiet, level and secluded three-acre field to hire out to organised clubs.
