The Museum of Power explores many aspects of power and engineering and is extremely suitable for a one-day school trip.

We have created six self-contained Power Trails to make your visit curriculum-focussed and highly worthwhile.

Each Power Trail includes visits to around six specific items in the museum, a short practical demonstration and a ‘Computer Stop’ to place the visit in a wider context.

Power Trails are designed for small groups of one adult and five children. We offer several Power Trails so a class can easily be broken into smaller groups and work on different Trails, or even start at different points in the Trail.

A worksheet is provided for each stop on the Power Trails. They usually have three questions, graded in ability level, to help direct discussion for you. The worksheets are written for Key Stage 2 students but can also be used across a wide range of language and learning abilities.
